New Delhi Metro Line 3

The Blue Line of the Delhi Metro system in Delhi consists of 44 metro stations from Dwarka Sector 21 to Noida City Centre (Sector 32) with a length of 50.56 km and a branch line consisting of 6 stations from Anand Vihar from Yamuna Bank, with a length of 6.25 km. The Dwarka-Barakhamba section of the line was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh on December 31 2005. It was opened to the public on 31 December 2005.

Siemens Transportation Systems has received a contract for signalling and railway communication systems from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). This contract involves equipping the 23.5 km Line 3 which runs between Barakhamba Road in the city centre of New Delhi and the suburb of Dwarka in West Delhi. – Siemens Reference
